Frequently Asked Questions
- Do the kids have to be accompanied by an adult?No, kids do not have to be accompanied throughout the experience. Adults can leave their children with our trained colleagues for the camp hours.
- Do you offer transportation to and from the camps?We do not offer camp-specific transportation, however check out our Getting here section for further information
- I don't want to sign up for all four days. Can I register my child for one day only?We currently only offer the full five-day program. Single-day programs may become available in the future. Stay tuned on our channels for more info.
- What should my child bring with them to the camp each day?Campers should wear comfortable clothing, and bring a water bottle and closed-toe shoes each day.
- What are the timings for the camp?Campers should be dropped off by 8:00 AM. Pick-up and sign-out take place at the same location promptly at 12:00 PM.
- How can I register my child?Registration is completed online via the Al Ain Zoo website, including form submission, document upload, waiver signing, and payment.
- Are there any discounts available?Yes. Add a sibling to get a 20% discount.
- Are tickets refundable?No. Camp bookings are non-refundable, non-cancellable, and non-transferable once purchased.
- Where and when do I drop off and collect my child?At the Al Ain Zoo main gate, within the published camp hours only.
- Who is allowed to pick up my child?Only authorised individuals listed during registration. Identification (Emirates ID) is required.
- Is food provided?Yes. Snacks/food are provided daily.
- What if my child has dietary requirements or allergies?Parents must declare all conditions during registration. The zoo may not cater to specific requirements; children may bring their own food if necessary.
- Do I need to sign any forms?Yes. A mandatory waiver, NOC and registration form must be completed and digitally signed before attendance.
- Will photos or videos of my child be taken?Photography and filming may be used for marketing, subject to consent provided during registration.

AL AIN ZOO CAMP TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
This ticket gives your child/ren named on the Registration Form (each hereinafter, individually referred as Child) entry to the Al Ain Zoo, (the Zoo) for the sole purpose of attending the holiday Camp (Camp) for the period described on the ticket.
Please read this form carefully and in full. This Camp ticket is the property of the Zoo and Aquarium Public Institution in Al Ain (“ZAPIA”) and the operators of the Zoo appointed by ZAPIA (together, “we” or “us”). Entry and use of the Zoo for the Child to attend the Camp pursuant to this ticket is subject to the general Zoo terms of entry, the terms noted in the registration form completed by the Child’s parent/guardian, and those terms set out below:
• This ticket is only valid for entry by the Child into the Zoo for the relevant Camp during the specified dates. It is not valid for general entry into the Zoo on any other dates and at the end of the day’s Camp session the Child must be collected from the Zoo promptly by an authorized person.
• Registration Form shall be filled up and signed by the legal guardian/parent of the Child;
• If any one other than the Child’s legal guardian/parent is collecting the Child from the Camp (eg – nanny, driver, or any relative), we will require the parent/legal guardian to notify the Camp in advance of the name of the person authorized to collect your child and a valid government issued ID. We reserve the right to not release the Child without this authorization and we do not have any liability for late pick-ups from the Camp.
• Admission to the Camp shall be subject to the receipt of the relevant signed documents including Registration Form, and other documents required by us;
• The Child must remain with their group and under the supervision of their assigned supervisor at all times during the Camp. The Child is not permitted to leave the group to undertake any non-scheduled activity at any time;
• Food will be provided at the Camp which may include food products containing eggs, nuts, dairy, gluten, fish or meat.Please note that we are unable to cater to any specific dietary requirements or allergy issues, despite you notifying us in the Registration Form. The Child may bring outside food into the Zoo, where required for medical purposes/dietary restrictions or any allergy issues and notify the Camp staff that the Child should not be served Camp food. However, please note that the outside food shall not be allowed shared by the Child with other participants at the Camp.
• The Child must comply with all rules, policies, health and safety directives in relation to the participation in the Camp and generally follow our instructions in the Zoo and during the Camp at all times.
• We have behavioral rules/expectations which will be outlined to the Child during the Camp and which must be adhered to by the Child at the Camp, failing which we reserve the right to exclude the Child from the Camp (on the day of the offense and/or on any following days) without any liability, compensation or refund;
• The Child must at all times adhere to UAE morals and/or cultural values during the Camp;
• The Child will be issued a Zoo vest for high-visibility and identification. The Child must wear their own appropriate and comfortable clothing and closed-toed athletic footwear at all times during the Camp;
• The Child should avoid bringing personal electronics to the Camp sessions and will be encouraged to limit screen time for the duration of the sessions;
• Once purchased, the Camp ticket is non-cancellable, non-exchangeable, non-refundable and not for resale. This ticket is void if re-sold, transferred, altered or damaged and we reserve all legal rights should this occur;
• Certain activities, animals, experiences, presentations, shows or outlets may be unavailable during the Camp;
• Certain activities may be provided by external third party collaborators and are subject to such third party collaborators’ availability and terms;
• Animal welfare is one of our key responsibilities; accordingly it is strictly prohibited for any Child to:- enter or attempt to enter into any animal habitat, without the consent of an authorised representative of the Zoo;
- handle, feed or attempt to feed any animals without the consent of an authorised representative of the Zoo;
- throw, place or otherwise introduce any object into an animal habitat without the consent of an authorised representative of the Zoo;
- distract or attempt to distract any Zoo colleagues working in any animal habitat;
- harass or distress (or attempt to harass or distress) any animals; and/or
- intentionally mistreat (or attempt to intentionally mistreat) any animals.
• Admission and use of the Zoo is at yours and the Child’s sole risk and, to the maximum extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for loss, injury or damage sustained in the Zoo;
